MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly turned down the chance to sign Chelsea’s Tyrique George in a swap deal involving Alejandro Garnacho.
Chelsea are exploring clever ways to land Garnacho, a player they’ve been linked with all summer.

Enzo Maresca‘s side are expected to make a move the moment they can shift either Nicolas Jackson or Christopher Nkunku.
SunSport has been told that Garnacho is desperate for a move to Stamford Bridge and has already turned down opportunities elsewhere in anticipation of sealing the transfer.
The report has been backed by Fabrizio Romano , who revealed that United have turned down Chelsea’s offer to add youngster George to the deal.
Romano also reported that Garnacho has snubbed big-money offers from Italy, Saudi Arabia, Germany and other Premier League clubs in the hope of joining the Blues.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said : “I can 100% tell you that Chelsea expect the Alejandro Garnacho deal to happen.
“The player expects that this deal will happen as he has turned down many opportunities.
“There were some talks to include Tyrique George in the deal… but I was told this option stopped a few weeks ago.
“He’s now being considered by Roma.”

TRANSFER NEWS LIVE – KEEP UP WITH ALL THE LATEST FROM A BUSY SUMMER WINDOW
Earlier in the summer, Napoli were also reportedly keen on doing a deal for Garnancho but sources close to the player made it clear to United that they were not interested.
SunSport has been told that the player’s camp informed the club they were exploring other options, knowing Chelsea have been long-term admirers.
United have already strengthened this summer with the additions of Matheus Cunha from Wolves, Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford and the sensational signing of Benjamin Sesko.
The arrival of the trio means that Ruben Amorim may not be too bothered if Garnacho ends up leaving Old Trafford before the transfer window shuts.
