MANCHESTER UNITED fans have been warned to allow extra time for their journey to Old Trafford today due to major tram closures across the city.
No tram services will run on the Altrincham, Eccles or Trafford Park lines, while East Didsbury and Airport line services will only run as far as Firswood, with no trams continuing into Manchester city centre.
Replacement buses will be available on match day, alongside additional Bee Network bus services to help supporters reach the ground.
Fans are being advised to leave an hour earlier than usual to account for potential traffic delays, with all Bee Network tickets accepted on the replacement services.
