A MAN has been taken to the hospital after being struck by a falling brick in London’s Piccadilly Circus.
Paramedics arrived at the popular tourist destination at 2:27 PM today following reports of an individual injured on the bustling street.

The 57-year-old man was taken to the hospital shortly after police and ambulance services arrived on the scene.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated: “The man is currently receiving treatment from the London Ambulance Service and will soon be transported to the hospital by London’s Air Ambulance.
“The extent of his injuries is not yet known.
“This incident is still ongoing. The public is advised to avoid the area at this time.”
Finley Dart, 18, was passing by the building when he heard people screaming and rushing towards the man.
The Reading resident remarked: “Everyone was concerned when bystanders rushed to assist the man.
“Many people wanted to help him, and it was heartening to see everyone trying to do so.”
The man received initial treatment at the scene from the London Ambulance Service before being transported to a major trauma center in London.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service added: “We dispatched resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, an incident response officer, an advanced paramedic practitioner, and London’s air ambulance.
