COPS investigating a string of burglaries have arrested a man on suspicion of murder after the body of a man in his 70s was discovered.
Greater Manchester were looking into four house raids where a burglar demanded bank cards from the householders which investigators believe are linked.

A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
But when cops went to a fifth address, which they suspected was also connected, police found the body of a man in his 70s.
His death is being treated as suspicious and police have now also arrested their suspect on suspicion of murder.
Cops made the initial arrest on November 7, which then led to them visiting a potential other victim at Whitstable Close in Chadderton, Oldham.
It was during that search that officers discovered the body.
The man’s next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specially trained officers, according to police.
Cops believe the Whitstable Close incident happened sometime between November 4 and November 7.
Detective Superintendent Amber Waywell said: “First and foremost, our thoughts are with the gentleman who has sadly died and with his family and loved ones at what will be an incredibly difficult and distressing time.
“This remains a complex and developing investigation, and we are working hard to establish the full circumstances surrounding his death.
“I would like to thank the outstanding work of our detectives, who have shown real determination and persistence throughout this investigation.
“We are also extremely grateful to everyone who came forward following our media appeals, with the most recent one being on Friday.
“We received a number of calls from members of the public, and the information provided has been invaluable in supporting our ongoing enquiries.”
