A LOTTO winner has revealed she spent “all day crying” after a heartbreaking realisation in the lead up to her wedding reception.
Olivia Love, of Glasgow, scooped £10,000-a-month for a year alongside hubby Kevin this summer.

The couple eloped last year before their huge windfall, and are now planning a “re-wedding” to celebrate properly with their loved ones.
In a TikTok video posted on Wednesday, the mum-of-four said: “At the end of October I decided to sort of impulsively plan a wedding reception for me and my husband.
“We’ve been married for almost a year now. We eloped last year.
“Since we won the lottery I thought let’s just have the wedding reception that we didn’t have last year and we’ll do it this year. Because it marks one year married but also 15 years together.”
And the 36-year-old will have picked up plenty of tips in her new career after quitting her job at a local supermarket to start up her own business as a wedding content creator.
She has booked a celebrant for their vow renewal, their first date location as the venue, and a decor company to transform the space.
She’s also splashed out on a DJ, buffet, sax player, magician, desserts table, cake and photo booth – as well as a new wedding dress for herself and a kilt for Kevin.
But despite the exciting plans and big day drawing closer, Olivia admitted this week that she “spent pretty much all day crying” due to one missing feature.
“I kinda knew this going into the planning but it didn’t really hit me until yesterday. Like I don’t actually have any friends”, she confessed.
“I have people I know in my life and people I care about and people that I would reach out to and talk to but nobody that I would say is a really close friend. And I’ve been okay with that for years now.
“You just get to a certain point in your life where you’re just like all about your husband and your kids and that’s me. I’ve just been focused on my little family.”
She added: “And being a wedding content creator, I go to amazing weddings. I see gorgeous brides and their bridesmaids and their amazing friends and family. I see all of that.
“And I capture all their little moments and I turn that into forever memories for them. And that is a passion of mine. I love doing that.
“But I don’t get that myself. On the day of my re-wedding, I’ll be getting ready on my own. I don’t have anyone to come with me to get my hair done or get my makeup done.
“I won’t be having those little moments that all the other brides that I’ve been to have. And that makes me really sad.
“I know it’s my own fault for planning this, knowing that I didn’t have close friends and things, but it really didn’t hit me until yesterday. “
In a further blow to her big day, Olivia revealed her guest list has dropped from 60 to 25 overnight after people who originally said yes RSVP’d as a no.
She said: “So now I’ve planned this awesome re-wedding and I feel like there won’t really be a lot of people there to celebrate it with me.
“Don’t get me wrong, I’m really grateful for the people that are making the effort to come along to this and I’m not forgetting the effort they are putting in. I’m really grateful for them.
“I just can’t shake this feeling that I’m missing out.”
We told earlier how a simple email from the National Lottery team at 12.33am on May 16 changed Olivia’s life.
Before this, the mum-of-four was earning just £800-a-month working in a supermarket’s customer service kiosk.
She was on Universal Credits to subsidise her eye-watering £1,800-a-month childcare costs and “dreaded” her council tax bill coming through.
Now, the family have been able to splash out on a new car, holidays and clothes as well as hiring a cleaner and gardener.
Olivia and Kevin won the second-tier prize on The National Lottery’s Set For Life on May 15 after matching five main numbers.
