A KEY motorway slip road leading towards a major UK airport has shut after a lorry overturned – sparking a huge spillage on the road.
Drivers travelling towards Manchester Airport have been warned the closure off the M60 will last for “several hours”.

National Highways said: “The M60 anti-clockwise J5 (Wythenshawe, M56) exit slip road in Greater Manchester is closed due to an overturned lorry.
“As a result of the incident, there is also a spillage of fuel on the carriageway and barrier damage.
“Recovery is now on scene but is likely to be complex and protracted.
“National Highways have deployed resources to assist with recovery and clean up.
“Please be aware this is the exit slip road road users would use to join the A5103 and M56 heading for Manchester Airport and therefore are advised to use the diversion route below.”
