Since relocating abroad to , Tamira has given people an insight into just how living in Malaysia actually is.

Posting on, Tamira, who is known alongside her hubby and their three – Olivia, Scarlett and Bella – as ‘The Hutchinsons’, said: “Recently I spoke to my sister and she told me that in the , a Happy Meal now costs £4.50 – that is absolutely insane.”

Tamira, who added: “We’ve come out on a Wednesday as a family to eat out – it was something that became unaffordable for us as a family-of-five to do in the UK.”

As the family arrived at a typical Malaysian , Tamira’s daughter Bella opted for salted chicken popcorn with rice, which cost just £2.40.

Meanwhile, Scarlett had duck, which arrived with rice and soup and cost only £3.

The family also ordered a chicken katsu curry, which was around £3, as well as a huge plate of chicken satay for everyone to share, which was priced at just £4.

As Tamira tucked into a chicken skewer, she beamed: “12 of these satays – £4 – and they are the best satays I’ve ever tried.”

On top of this, the family ordered a portion of fries, numerous Coca-Colas and then for dessert, shared a portion of banana pancakes, which was at only £1.30.

Overjoyed by the delicious and super purse-friendly meal, the shared: “Midweek meal and all of that, including drinks, which included a as well, was £19.50, which means it’s actually affordable for us as a family-of-five to eat out midweek – I think a McDonald’s in the UK costs more than that nowadays.”
