Lee Andrews' Urgent Quest to Rescue His Marriage to Katie Price Amidst 'Threats and Lies'

LEE Andrews is desperately fighting to save his marriage to Katie Price before she “finally sees through his lies”, say pals.

To the rest of the world, the self-proclaimed billionaire businessman has gone off grid since to reunite with his frustrated wife.

But in private, Lee hasn’t stopped trying to convince Katie they have a future after she admitted Lee made her by missing their joint interview with on Tuesday.

Now a friend of the star has told The Sun: “Lee is in a race against time to keep Katie under his spell.

“He reacted angrily to criticism over his no-show – even issuing a threat on Instagram to a journalist reporting the facts – but now he realises he’s on borrowed time.

“He’s scrambling to prove himself to Katie however, she’s thousands of miles away and surrounded by loved ones who are begging her to see through his lies.

“Lee has always had an answer for his naysayers, but until he touches down in the UK or admits to having a travel ban, everything he says is meaningless.

“Katie is so close to finally being able to see through his lies after being hoodwinked.”

Katie’s husband’s downfall began with her live TV humiliation in which she was told by host the Foreign Office had “supported a British man detained in the United Arab Emirates”.

At the time, she defended her husband by claiming: “He just didn’t make the flight… because of his business he had some things he had to do last minute.”

Parroting what he had told his wife earlier, Lee insisted: “No one was detained. Sorry I got delayed and couldn’t make the show. I love you so much Katie and I’m on my way to you.”

Then, in a video posted later that day, Lee threatened The Sun’s Ellie Henman for claiming he has a travel ban.

Ellie was the first to unmask him as a fantasist who faked celebrity links using AI-generated photos and repeated the exact same wedding proposal on Katie that he did for another woman just four months before.

Lee menacingly told her: “You’ll be out of a job soon, I’ll make sure of that.”

However, Katie began questioning his alleged travel ban in an explosive episode of her podcast, The Show, which she co-hosts with her sister Sophie.

, Katie ranted: “I said to him, ‘If you don’t turn up to England this time, what’s the deal? Tell me what’s going on because I’m not flying out to Dubai now. I’ve got family, my kids and my job here’.

“If you can’t come to the UK and you are on a flight ban, it’s fine. Just tell me. Does it matter if you can’t fly out of Dubai for whatever reasons, whether it’s two years, three years or never, just tell me.

“I said, because all you’re doing is saying you’ll come to England, then I look forward to you coming to England, and then you don’t turn up.

“I want answers. Just a bit of respect. Just tell me what’s going on.”

Since then, Katie appears to have deleted pictures of her with Lee on Instagram to as far back as March 25.

Now, it appears Katie has made the decision to .

In a new picture with her eldest son Harvey, 23, her ring finger is clearly bare.

Meanwhile Lee has gone unusually silent on social media.

Our source added: “Time is ticking down for Lee to prove himself to Katie. She’s going to be heartbroken if he lets her down.”
