A BRIT reality TV star has disclosed his surprising breakup with his partner after they found love on a dating show.
Just six months after reaching the finale of the popular dating show I Kissed A Boy, hosted by the Australian starlet, Lars Fellows and Ruben Bo Dower have ended their relationship.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Lars shared a heartfelt message announcing their split.
He said: “Hello everyone. It feels a bit odd to post something like this, but I suppose that’s part of participating in a reality dating show and having a somewhat public relationship.
“I’ve received quite a few inquiries recently, so I wanted to provide some clarity about Ruben and me.
“Unfortunately, we are no longer together.
“There’s no animosity, and we’re both just trying to navigate our own journeys, so I would really appreciate it if everyone could respect our privacy during this time.
“The support from the show has been amazing, and it’s an experience I will always cherish.”
He continued: “I’m incredibly thankful to have been a part of something that resonates so deeply with the community and so many individuals.
“Right now, I’m focused on moving forward and directing my energy towards the people and activities that bring me joy and stability.”
Concluding his message, he said: “Much love, Lars.”
Ruben also released a similar statement before signing off.
Hotel receptionist Lars felt “tired of being single and, after learning so much from his first breakup, was ready to find his person before joining the show.
Before the show premiered, Lars mentioned: “I’ve lived 16 years of my life as a girl. It’s aged me, but in a positive way.”
He also revealed: “The missing piece of the puzzle is a man!”
In his official bio prior to the series, Lars expressed: “I am genuinely proud to be the first trans person on the show.
“Growing up, I never saw stories like mine represented on screen, so being part of something that embraces and normalizes LGBTQ+ relationships means everything to me.
“It’s messy, it’s joyful, it’s authentic, and it is exactly the type of representation we need.”
Meanwhile, artist and designer Ruben described himself as a “self-confessed sexy nerd whose indecisiveness affects both his career and love life” before joining the show.
He had been single since his first relationship and was apprehensive about being vulnerable and allowing someone into his life.
Fans are likely to be heartbroken by their breakup, as their love story was cherished by viewers during the series.
At the time of their appearance on the show, one person commented on X, “Lars and Ruben truly are one of my favorite couples on this planet.”
