Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simeone, has provided the latest injury update on Ademola Lookman and Alex Sorloth ahead of his side’s LaLiga clash with Elche, on Wednesday.
Recall that Lookman sustained an adductor injury during the Copa del Rey final defeat against Real Sociedad on Saturday.
The Nigerian forward was replaced by Nicolas Gonzalez in the 63rd minute.
Providing an update on both players at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday, Simeone said, “Well, we will see how Alex Sorloth and Lookman recover from this minor injury they have had.
“Hopefully, they will be fully recovered by Saturday, which is possible, according to the doctors, who are more knowledgeable.”
