KOBBIE MAINOO believes Casemiro has made Manchester United “fun” again.

Casemiro’s exit after the next four games will leave a huge void that and the rest of the squad are sure to feel.

The Brazil star, 34, fought his way back from exile to start 31 of 32 possible Premier League games this season, scoring nine goals from holding midfield.

Despite , Casemiro is still making every effort to pass on his wisdom before moving on.

Speaking after , Mainoo said: “Before every game, when we go around and shake everyone’s hand while we’re on the pitch, Casemiro says, ‘let’s have fun. Let’s enjoy football’.

“You know, that’s what it is, isn’t it? You have fun and you love to win, but ultimately, I’d be playing the game for free, I’d be playing in the back garden if I wasn’t playing it here.”

Not only did reveal Casemiro’s inspiring pre-match ritual, he also praised the veteran midfielder’s influence on his career.

Mainoo, 21, said: “It’s been huge for me because I’ve learned so much from Casemiro.

“Him and . I would just think, ‘how are they so calm in that?’

“I’d go home and I’d think about it a lot, and I’d try and implement it. But I’m still learning from them now.”
