ILLEGAL traveller sites that blight the lives of people living nearby will be torn down under new Tory plans.

She believes walking away from Strasbourg rules and repealing the will help stop court action by money-grabbing lawyers and meddling pressure groups.

The Tories say they will back police to block returning to camps they have already been thrown off.

They will also make it an offence to trespass with a vehicle after being told to leave the premises.

A ban on removing trespassers if no other sites are available will also be scrapped.
