The event took place at approximately 5:26 a.m. on November 25, 2025, when the armed group invaded the community.

In a statement released on Monday, the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Nafiu Abubakar Kotarkoshi, reported that the Divisional Police Officer in Kamba led a joint team of police operatives and local vigilantes to confront the attackers.

The team engaged the bandits in a gunfight that lasted for several hours, compelling the criminals to retreat.
