An official report has been lodged by his family at the British Embassy in , where Lee, 43, lives.
The businessman was last seen at the airport there last week.
Mum-of-five Katie, now fears he has been kidnapped.
A source close to the ex glamour model said: “ is officially a now.
“Katie is in constant contact with his family and is desperately worried.
“And she’s mortified — she’s seen people calling it a stunt and that she must be in on it, but she’s absolutely not.
“This is such a worrying, upsetting situation.”
The trouble began when Lee was due to appear with Katie on ITV’s on Tuesday — but did not turn up.

Lee then told Katie in a voicenote that he needed an “exit stamp”
She last spoke to him on Wednesday when she says he had “ties around his hand and was in a van”.
At the weekend, Katie said: “I know there is all this speculation but something really serious has happened.”
