GARY NEVILLE hit out at officials after Erling Haaland’s controversial opener for Manchester City in the Manchester Derby.

Ten-man City took the lead midway through the second half against rivals Manchester United after Haaland converted from Josko Gvardiol’s cross.

There was confusion over how the goal could stand given Haaland appeared to be well offside.

But it was deemed that Patrick Dorgu played him on and the goal was given – a decision which sparked fury among fans and Neville was fuming too.

He told Sky Sports: “‘I’m lost. we need an official to explain ho what is not offside.”
