The festive special of The Piano has been canceled this year due to the stabbing incident on a London-bound train last weekend.

The host and the show's crew were set to begin filming in Kings Cross, where the train was scheduled to terminate.

However, due to increased security measures causing access issues at the station, it was determined that it would be best to shelve the show for this year.

Claudia was expected to be joined by mentors Jon Baptiste and Mika on the train concourses, which are typically filled with amateur pianists performing.

This one-off, hour-long special, which was filmed last year at St Pancras station, was quickly becoming a beloved tradition for the program.

Nevertheless, creating the cozy show in neighboring Kings Cross was deemed inappropriate following the incident on the train from Peterborough to the capital on Saturday night.

Nonetheless, a full series of The Piano, hosted by Claudia once again, is set to return in 2026 with a fourth season, which will begin filming in the spring and air later in the year.
