FIVE female officers at the same jail have been sentenced for affairs with lags in just 22 months.
The latest is Charlie Dufty, who was 22 and three months into the , when she started a fling with Jack Morgan.

She carried out his welfare and other unsupervised checks at Five Wells, .
A March 2023 search of Morgan’s cell uncovered two iPhones.
Analysis unearthed 663 messages, many of them sexualised, and 20 calls between him and Dufty, some for as long as an hour.
Dufty admitted sending explicit pics and kissing him — amounting to misconduct in public office — and was dismissed in May 2023.
The relationship continued until that September.
At Northampton crown last week Dufty, now 25 of Welling borough, got a year’s jail, suspended for 18 months, a six-month treatment order and 50 hours’ unpaid work.
Judge Rupert Mayo cited her and a near-three-year wait for sentencing for keeping her out of jail.
In January, , 20, was jailed for smuggling in cannabis and phones for her burglar lover.

, 29, got the same sentence in February 2025 after admitting sharing 4,431 texts and calls with an inmate.
And in 2024, was handed a suspended sentence for embarking on a relationship.
