The Burgundy Red Rubber Rain Jacket was originally priced at £65 but has just been reduced to just £22.

“Stay dry in style with this elegant rubber rain jacket in berry red, perfect for showers.

“The zip-through design, hood, and side pockets combine practicality with a fashionable, casual look.

“A perfect transitional piece for a chic, all-weather wardrobe,” Next bosses said.

The jacket features an adjustable hood, elasticated cuffs, side pockets and is shower resistant for those rainy days.

Plenty of happy shoppers have already been raving about the style staple and it currently has an average rating of 4.5 out of five.

One said: “Bought this for my daughter and she loves it. It’s well made and keeps her dry and looks lovely.

“It’s not warm but is ideal for in and out of the car or shops when you don’t want a heavy coat. The material and colour is lovely.”

And a second agreed: “Excellent lightweight waterproof jacket. Well made and stylish.”

“I Love it, the style, the check design and the colour combination, the quality is good and the rain just runs off, it is also wind proof, a good buy,” someone else noted.

That said, a few shoppers did note the length of the jacket was something to consider before buying.

“Had ordered couple for choice, this jacket was lovely, fitted perfectly but wasn’t keen on the back being lower so returned,” one said.

And another added: “Lovely but the one point against it is the length.”

The jacket isn’t the only fashion buy shoppers are loving right now though, elsewhere on the high street M&S fans have found the perfect dupe for a £245 Sezane trench coat.

The high street retailer is selling a £60 near-identical replica, which could be more realistic if you are watching the pounds.

If you want the look of the cult-popular jacket, but for a fraction of the price, their Pure Cotton Short Car Coat could do the trick.

As with many of the M&S lines, it also comes in a range of inclusive sizes, from six to 24.

And it also has all the trademarks of the Sezane version, including the oversized trench look, the beige hue and the checked lining.

It also has a structured collar and tortoiseshell buttons for a polished finish.

The description reads: “This pure cotton car coat is a classic style with a fresh short design.

“It’s cut in a regular fit with a classic collar and tortoiseshell buttons.

“A contrast check lining provides an eye-catching pop of print.

“M&S Collection: easy-to-wear wardrobe staples that combine classic and contemporary styles.”

Currently Sezane’s designer version has sold out online – so if you are desperate for the look and can’t wait, you may wish to snap the M&S version up.
