Brooks shared the wonderful news on Instagram on Tuesday evening.
Brooks posted on Instagram: “Our beautiful baby girl born 27/10/25, Lottie Elizabeth Brooks. A special addition to our family @florabrooks_. Love you!”
Previously, Brooks had expressed uncertainty about the possibility of becoming a parent while he was fighting stage 2 Hodgkin lymphoma in October 2021.
He mentioned this summer: “When I was diagnosed, I had those discussions, and there were no guarantees that I would be able to have children in the future.
“There was a chance that it wouldn’t be possible. I feel incredibly fortunate that it has happened naturally.
“After treatment, everything has returned to normal. I’m genuinely happy.
“I have always wanted to start a family. My wife and I have always envisioned having children at some point.
“My situation took that out of my hands, so it’s wonderful that everything has unfolded naturally into becoming a family.
“I’m really looking forward to it, and I know my wife is too, even though she’s the one going through pregnancy.”
“I’m overjoyed—there were a few tears, and now we’re eagerly anticipating it. We still have a few months to go, but I can’t wait.”

When they announced their pregnancy, the couple shared pictures of the ultrasound alongside a cake that read ‘Baby Brooks’ and a Bournemouth shirt with ‘Daddy 7’ on the back.
Brooks was diagnosed with cancer after experiencing sudden weight loss and night sweats.
He underwent regular chemotherapy, which left him “barely able to get out of bed.”
However, he received the incredible news that he was cancer-free in May 2022.
Since then, Brooks has returned to playing regularly in the Premier League, making 33 appearances for the Cherries last season.
This season, he has started seven matches for Andoni Iraola and is optimistic about participating in the 2026 World Cup as they continue their campaign.
