Victor Boniface will raise Werder Bremen’s performance, according to manager Horst Steffen, DAILY POST reports.

Boniface is spending the 2025/26 season on loan with the former Bundesliga champions.

The Nigeria international is rated as one of the best forwards in the Bundesliga.

The 24-year-old is set to make his maiden appearance for Bremen in Saturday’s league clash with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

It will be the striker’s first competitive outing of the season.

Steffen is looking forward to seeing Boniface in action.

“Victor is well-received and likeable. He will certainly raise our level, and he’s improving every day,” he was quoted by the club’s official website.
