Tess, 56, began her journey with Bruce in 2004 and co-hosted the show with him for nine years until his retirement in 2013.

Claudia, 53, joined Tess as co-host the following year.

A source stated: “It wouldn’t be a proper send-off for the pair without a few words from Strictly icon Bruce.

“Researchers have uncovered some classic archive footage showcasing Tess and Bruce in action during the early days of the show, along with Bruce expressing his admiration for her behind the scenes.

“He was such an integral part of Tess’ journey, and it feels significant to include his tribute.”

Bruce passed away at the age of 89.

However, insiders emphasize that the segment will be modest, as Tess and Claudia are eager to ensure the focus remains on the winner of the show.

A source added: “The duo wants the finale to highlight the contestants and celebrate the winner.

“They have no intention of drawing attention away from the spotlight.”

At the conclusion of Saturday’s dress rehearsal, Tess was surprised with a bouquet of flowers and balloons from Claudia on behalf of the cast and crew to commemorate her 500th show.

An onlooker remarked: “It was a significant milestone, and Tess was deeply moved.”

Tess will appear on Tuesday for a farewell interview.

The Sun reported yesterday on their search to find replacements for the duo.

There are three frontrunners — including Bradley Walsh, with comedian Alan being the top target.

Last month, Bradley, 65, further fueled speculation about taking over as one of the new hosts.

Securing Bradley would be a nod to the era of showmanship associated with Bruce Forsyth, the ratings winner.
