Since then, she has referred to Ben as her “rock” – and in the latest episode of Strictly, he was seen proudly sitting next to Amber's mother to support her during the semi-finals.

After her second dance with professional partner Nikita Kuzmin – a Couple’s Choice to "Fly Me to the Moon" that celebrated the golden era of Hollywood – Amber became emotional while speaking about him with Claudia.

Holding back tears before even reaching the “Clauditorium,” Amber spoke about how significant the dance was to her, thanking those who have provided emotional support during a challenging week.

“After the dance-off last week, I thought, Oh no, we might not get to do our couple’s choice,” she expressed.

“So the fact that we’ve completed it means the world to me.”

“My mum has been by my side from day one, and she’s become my best friend. I couldn't imagine a single day without her,” she added.

“She’s just incredible. And my boyfriend, Ben, thank you for everything as well.”

Tonight, her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin also took a moment on the show to speak out in her defense, addressing those who have targeted Amber.

“You have faced so much hate every single day since you joined, and this week has been particularly tough. Yet, you came into the training room every day with a big smile, ignoring the negativity and just showing me love,” he told her. “You even gave me a little ginger shot!”

“But you came with so much love. You are always kind and caring. You care more about me when I’m supposed to care about you. You think about me every single day.”

As Amber broke down in tears, he continued: “You are such a lovely, positive person. And I want to speak to the audience at home, just please, please be kind, because it costs nothing, and you don’t deserve any of this negativity.

“Without you, if you weren’t here, I wouldn’t be here either, and neither would the show be as enjoyable as it is because you bring so
