Rafiu Durosinmi has expressed his excitement after helping Genk salvage a point against KAA Gent.

The Smurfs held the visitors to a 1-1 draw in their Belgian Pro League encounter on Sunday.

Momodou Sonko gave Gent the lead after 10 minutes.

Durosinmi, however, equalised for Genk two minutes after the break.

The Nigeria international has so far scored five goals in six league appearances for the Smurfs this season.

The 23-year-old, who was named Man of the Match was delighted with his contribution.

“I am happy to have been voted Man of the Match again. It also feels good to be the top scorer at the moment. In football, anything is possible, but you have to believe in it. My family and my wife are here to cheer me on, and that feels good,” Durosinmi was quoted by the club’s official website.
