Dad, 48, ‘raped daughter for 17 years since she was just 12 and forced her to have four children’

A DAD is alleged to have raped his daughter over 17 years prompting urgent DNA testing to prove if he fathered her four children.

The daughter, now 29, told relatives that her dad had been abusing her since she was just 12 years old in Brazil.

She spoke up about the sickening allegations while the 48-year-old man was in for another offence.

It’s alleged he had repeatedly threatened to kill her if she reported him.

The suspect was arrested in Anapolis, in the central state of Goias, last Friday.

Investigators said at least one of her four children was conceived as a result of the alleged abuse.

testing is now underway to establish whether the man is also the biological father of the other children.

The children are aged between one and 11.

Footage released by Brazilian shows the man being led away in handcuffs.

After the daughter disclosed the horrifying abuse, the man went to find her following his release from prison for a separate offence.

Police allege he threatened to take away the children if she didn’t return to live with him following his release.

She then went back to the property, where she lived with her father and the children.

The woman told police that the alleged rapes have continued until recently.

Police said she described him as violent, aggressive and controlling.

The suspect has denied the allegations and refused to provide a biological sample.

He also refused to give a statement to investigators, saying he would speak before the court.

Police have seized personal items belonging to him to try and obtain genetic material to compare with samples from his children.

The Child and Adolescent Protection Police in Anapolis applied for his preventive detention, which was granted by a domestic violence court.

The woman and her four children were taken into protective care following his arrest.

The suspect remains in prison.
