Published on June 11, 2025 at 09:20 PM

Barcelona legend Gerard Piqué has named three Blaugrana stars among the top six contenders for this year’s Ballon d’Or.

The former Spain international was recently asked, during a segment with DAZN Football, to blindly rank his top six candidates for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.

The ex-Manchester United defender placed three Barcelona players in his top three: Lamine Yamal in first place, Pedri in second, and Raphinha in third.

Piqué then named Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha in fourth position, followed by Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé in fifth, and finally PSG’s Ousmane Dembélé in sixth.

The winner of the 2025 Ballon d’Or will be announced later this year.

All the aforementioned players are considered strong contenders for the prestigious award.
