ARSENAL have been backed to win the Champions League ahead of their Premier League rivals by a supercomputer.

already look on course to finally

They are six points clear at the top of the table

But this could be a magical year in North London with Arsenal now tipped to seal their first-ever Champions League victory too.

It’s reckoned the Gunners have a 22.5 per cent chance of sealing continental silverware.

Arsenal are just one of three teams to have won all four of their group stage games this season.

And they have immediately been given a stunning 99.7 per cent chance of securing automatic qualification into the knockouts.

The supercomputer reckons Arsenal then have an 80.1 per cent chance of reaching the quarters, with their semi chances rated at 56.4 per cent and a place in the final at 37.6 per cent.

Their total chance of winning the Champions League at 22.5 per cent is significantly higher than the next strongest side, Bayern Munich.

Harry Kane’s team have also won all four group games and have been given a total chance of 14.8 per cent to emerge as this season’s victor.

Just behind in third place are Arsenal’s domestic rivals Man City 14.7 per cent.

Despite their struggles in England, Liverpool are fourth with a 10 per cent chance.

And defending champs Paris Saint-German are fifth with a slim 9.1 per cent backing.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Inter Milan are next in line as the odds decrease ever further.

And the top 10 is completed by Chelsea, who have a 3.8 per cent shot of winning, and Newcastle — back in at 2.9 per cent.

The sixth Premier League side, Spurs, are ranked 13th by the supercomputer with slim odds of just 1.3 per cent.

Meanwhile, eight clubs have already been written off as no-hopers, with Marseille, Benfica and Bilbao among those given a ZERO per cent chance of winning.
