The loved-up couple shared a selection of photographs from their special day with Annaliese looking like the perfect bride in a traditional white bridal gown, while Jackson looked suave in a suit and bow tie.
He held her from behind outside their venue as Annaliese clutched a bouquet of white roses.
In another shot they shared a tender kiss outside in the stunning garden.
Many followers were delighted for them, calling them the “perfect” couple and wishing them the best.
But some couldn’t help but criticise the age gap, claiming the former Miss Universe Australia participant was too young for the actor.
One person commented: “I’ve worked out that she is around 25 or 26 and he is 37.
“Usually I stay way out of what’s not my business, but I can’t help finding it distasteful, and watching all these celebs congratulate them is kinda gross.”
Another wrote: “I don’t care what anyone says, I couldn’t imagine being 37 and wanting to be with someone in their mid-20s, no matter how ‘mature’ they are and I’m always gonna look at a dude doing this funny because of how dudes are.”
But the couple were defended by others, with one posting: “If they’re both consenting adults, I don’t see the issue.”
A second agreed, saying: “They’re both consenting adults… Definitely overreacting lol.”
Model and influencer Annaliese commands up to $800 for her work or $95-per-hour and also has a flair for photography and videography.
She took part in the national pageant in 2020 and said at the time: “I am always on the go and have been a hard worker since day dot.”
Her dream at that time was to open up her own fashion public relations firm.
Jackson, who was previously in a three-year relationship with Robin Williams‘ daughter Zelda, arrived in Summer Bay mid-way through 2016 as Brody Morgan.
His character came with plenty of baggage. He and his family had been living under witness protection after his parents were murdered due to their links to a drugs syndicate.
He left the soap in 2019 and reflected on a wild three years on the soap that included four kidnappings, five arrests, a plane crash, car accident, drug addiction and falling off a cliff.
Jackson signed off by writing:”…it’s safe to say Brody definitely didn’t waste his time in Summer Bay.
“Thanks for all the incredible friends I’ve made and people I’ve met throughout. My life is changed forever, for the better and I will sorely miss but will never forget my time there.”
