2027: Peter Obi not threat to Tinubu – Ex-Ekiti Dep Gov Olujimi

A former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Olujimi, has said the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is not a threat to the second term of President Bola Tinubu.

She stated that Obi’s eloquence, which played a major role in his performance in the 2023 presidential election, would not work again in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

Olujimi made this statement on Thursday when she appeared as a guest on Politics Today, a programme on Channels Television.

“The rhetoric of the last election will not work again, except he comes with another gimmick. And you see, this (Tinubu) is a politician, a man who knows the terrain well,” she said.

Olujimi, a former Senate Minority Leader, added that it would be difficult to defeat President Tinubu in 2027 given his political experience.
