Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has declared that no presidential aspirant will withdraw from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential race.

Atiku made this statement on Tuesday through his media adviser, Paul Ibe, emphasizing that all aspirants will have the opportunity to present themselves freely.

He also urged Nigerians to resist attempts by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to intimidate and undermine the opposition.

These comments followed speculation that he is under pressure to step aside for a Southern candidate to be the ADC’s nominee in the upcoming election against President Bola Tinubu.

According to him, if anyone should withdraw, it should be President Bola Tinubu, whose leadership he labeled as an increasing national liability.

“For nearly three years, Nigerians have faced one of the toughest periods in recent history, characterized by harsh economic policies and a diminishing democratic space under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he stated.
