The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has instructed its state executive officers across the country to commence the mobilization of politicians who possess both capability and integrity in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

The party has also mandated the state executives to initiate a membership drive and registration process, along with updating the current membership register.

This information was shared in a statement by its Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, in Lagos on Friday.

Aniebonam emphasized that all state and local government executives of the NNPP must ensure that any politicians they accept into the party have verifiable records of integrity and honor.

“Our time was significantly consumed by the leadership struggle between the NNPP and the Kwankwasiya Movement led by Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso.

“The attempts to take control of the NNPP resulted in legal disputes that hindered our ability to participate in previous elections.

“Now that we are nearing the resolution of these issues, we must all work together to further the NNPP’s primary goal of establishing good governance in Nigeria with a strong sense of morality,” Aniebonam stated.

He mentioned that existing members who do not wish to adhere to the principles of the NNPP are welcome to join other parties.

“We hold no resentment against anyone; instead, we wish well for those who are no longer with us and hope they find favor wherever they may go.

“As human beings, and in accordance with divine wisdom, we must forgive our former members despite their betrayals that led to their expulsion.

“For those concerned about distractions and negative intentions, there is no need for worry, as we are children of God. Victory will be ours, and we firmly believe that everything will be alright soon.”

He noted that as the founder of the NNPP, he has long moved past the betrayals and holds no grudges against Kwankwaso and Elder Buba Galadima in particular.
