A sneak peek of YoonA and Lee Chae Min’s new drama “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty”; is out!
Based on a popular web novel, tvN’s “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty”; is a fantasy romance drama about a french chef who time slips 500 years back into the past and meets the worst tyrant and food connoisseur of the time period.
The drama will be helmed by director Jang Tae Yoo of “My Love from the Star,”; “Tree With Deep Roots,”; “Painter of the Wind,”; “Lovers of the Red Sky,”; “Knight Flower,”; and more.
Girls’ Generation’s Yoona will portray the French chef Yeon Ji Young, while Lee Chae Min will play the tyrant Lee Heon.
The newly released stills give a sneak peek of modern chef Yeon Ji Young, who will travel 500 years back into the past to meet Joseon’s King Lee Heon. Yeon Ji Young exudes the charisma of a talented chef as she skillfully cooks in front of an open flame in her clean-cut chef uniform. Meanwhile, King Lee Heon’s cold expression captures his dangerous nature, raising intrigue for how the two will become intertwined.
The production team shared, “A chef from the future will meet a tyrant with an impeccable palate, sharing both flavors and emotions and also satisfying all five senses of the viewers. From a thrilling romance between a bold chef and a terrifying tyrant to delicious fusion of royal cuisine and the chef’s struggle to survive in a secret palace battle, the drama will be filled with diverse stories.”;
