Get pumped for the annual MAMA AWARDS!
On May 29, the 2025 MAMA AWARDS announced that this year’s awards ceremony will take place at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on November 28 and 29.
This is the first time in seven years since 2018 that the MAMA Awards will be held in Hong Kong again. The organizers shared, “As this is Mnet’s 30th anniversary, we are returning to Hong Kong, which has hosted the most MAMA AWARDS in the past and continues to be a major hub for the K-pop concert market.”;
The scale of the event will also be increased by approximately four times. Kai Tak Stadium is a large-scale venue that opened this year in March and can accommodate up to 50,000 people. CJ ENM will showcase innovative stages with unique direction at the stadium, which will become another iconic landmark of Hong Kong.
Shin Hyung Kwan, the head of CJ ENM’s Music Content Division, stated, “We will highlight artists and industry professionals who showcased outstanding achievements while leading this year’s K-pop trends, and we will do our best to prepare to showcase K-pop’s global competitiveness and stature. We will deliver iconic moments that blend creative stage directions and technical skills unique to the MAMA AWARDS, which many are anticipating.”;
