WORLD Cup final tickets have hit a record asking price of more than £100,000.

The ridiculously inflated sum — on an official resale site — only buys a Category 3 seat with a poor view high up in the corner.

Prices of better seats in Categories 1 and 2 at the ­ are still under wraps — but are certain to be higher.

Screenshots unearthed by The Sun yesterday confirmed tickets offered for $143,750 (£105,444).

The cost will include a 15 per cent cut for Fifa. It will also grab a further 15 per cent from the seller, taking their haul to £27,507 for one ticket.

Category 4 seats for the July 19 showpiece are listed at up to £29,524, while the lowest price on the Fifa resale site is a Category 3 ticket for £7,170.

Seb Hernandez, 50, a communications engineer from Wandsworth, South West London, said: “These extreme resale prices show the greed of people cashing in on having tickets — and Fifa is to blame for allowing them to do it.”

He also slammed Fifa for “double-dipping and taking such high commission on resold tickets”.

Meanwhile, a Leeds fan who bought tickets to all eight possible games joked he has “got a kidney for sale” after ­forking out £5,278.

Jake Beales-Hobson, of Doncaster, paid £3,129 for a final ticket after ­applying via .

If England are knocked out, fans can get refunds. Jake said: “I’m almost half-hoping we don’t make it to the final.

“Ticket prices are scandalous, but imagine if we win. It’d be priceless.”

Fifa said its pricing model “reflects the existing market practice for major entertainment and sporting events within our hosts”.
