THE victim of a sexual assault has been urged to come forward and make a report after cops arrested a man in connection with the incident.
The alleged assault occurred in a TK Maxx store on Northgate Street, Gloucester on Tuesday, July 29.
Officers have now urged the victim to come forward after it was alleged that a man grabbed a woman’s buttocks in the shop.
Police were made aware of the incident after the woman and her pal told the store manager of the assault and he reported it to cops .
Gloucestershire Police raced to the store and after speaking with staff members a 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident as he tried to leave the scene.
The woman left the store before officers could collect any details from her.
Police are now urging her to come forward and make a statement after they have been unable to trace her through CCTV.
The man has been released on bail while police continue to probe the assault.
One of the women is described as being in her 20s, with blonde hair and she was wearing black clothing.
The other woman is described as being in her 30s, with black hair and she was wearing an orange top.
