A WOMAN knifed her film director sister to death before she was arrested with the victim’s missing diamond Rolex, a court heard.
Nancy Pexton, 69, is accused of murdering Jennifer Abbott Dauward, known as Sarah Steinberg, at her flat in Camden, North .


The 69-year-old had last been seen alive on CCTV on June 10 walking her beloved pet Corgi.
She was discovered on the floor of her living room three days later partially covered with a blanket and with black tape on her mouth, the Old Bailey heard.
A post-mortem examination found the cause of death was a sharp trauma to the neck with eight stab wounds identified
Prosecutor Ben Holt said the evidence suggested the tape was “applied after the fatal injuries”;.
The was told Jennifer would usually wear a Rolex and a Cartier bracelet but when her body was found, the watch was not there.
The Rolex was found in Pexton’s bag when she was arrested on June 18, Mr Holt said.
Pexton spoke only to confirm her identity during the hearing today.
Pexton was remanded into custody to next appear for a plea hearing on September 9.
A provisional trial was set to take place at the Old Bailey from April 7 next year.
