She repeatedly strikes the officers as they attempt to advance, even managing to force them back through the narrow doorway.

Unaware to her, a second team of officers has entered through another entrance and is slowly closing in from behind.

In a coordinated manoeuvre, police force the woman into a corner before pushing her to the ground.

She is then successfully restrained by officers.

The 32-year-old woman was arrested in Hong Kong’s Sheung Shui district after allegedly failing to pay her bill and later assaulting police officers.

She now faces suspected charges of possessing an offensive weapon, criminal damage, and assaulting a police officer.

Authorities said they first received a report of commotion at the beef noodle shop on Lung Sum Avenue at 12:14am.

Employees claim the woman became agitated when her payment was declined and allegedly grabbed a 30cm kitchen knife to threaten staff.

During the incident, she also reportedly damaged the restaurant’s phone.

Following her arrest, the woman was taken to North District Hospital for examination.

Investigations are currently ongoing.
