The tragic death sparked fresh warnings against dangerous “backstreet” beauty treatments.

Yuleidys reportedly had the operation inside a private residence that was not a registered clinic.

The surgery, known as Mini Ambulatory Lipid Extraction or ‘La Mela’, allegedly involved arm fat reduction and abdominal contouring.

Shortly after she got home, the 40-year-old became seriously unwell.

Family members said she complained of intense pain and swelling before being rushed to hospital.

Yuleidys spent seven days fighting for her life in hospital, but nothing could be done to save her and she was pronounced dead on April 6.

Authorities believe the procedure was carried out under unsafe and illegal conditions, with no proper medical supervision.

experts have warned the surgery is extremely dangerous, as it is often carried out without certified surgeons, proper anaesthesia, sterilisation, or emergency equipment.

Cops are now investigating whether the illegal treatment directly caused her death.

It comes after a beauty clinic owner has died after undergoing three cosmetic surgery procedures at the same time.

Priscila Dorneles, 31, was found lying on her bedroom floor by her sister at her home in in March.

She had undergone a liposuction, a breast lift combined with implants, and scar correction shortly before she was discovered unresponsive.

When emergency crews arrived at her house in Inhumas, Goias state, her sister was performing CPR in an attempt to revive her.

The Fire Department said Priscila was unresponsive and showed no signs of life, with no breathing or heartbeat.

Paramedics continued resuscitation efforts as they transported her to a public emergency care unit, but she could not be saved.

And last month after months of documenting her makeover for social media.

Rachel Tussey, 47, was confirmed dead just 10 days after going in for the cosmetic procedure.

Her husband Jeremy revealed she had allegedly suffered surgery complications and had been taken off life support.
