POLICE have arrested a woman after finding a dead body in a block of flats.

Cops rushed to the tower block at around 9am this morning.

They tragically discovered a dead body in Plowman Tower on Westlands Drive in Headington, Oxford.

Concerns were raised by neighbours after complaining of a strong smell coming from a flat.

One local said: “The smell was horrific.”

Police said they found a woman in her 80s inside.
