KILLJOY theatre bosses have produced a six-page woke guide for a new stage version of the hit film Thelma & Louise – including warnings about scenes involving death.
And they said the play contains descriptions ot the cast downing booze.

follows two friends whose weekend getaway turns them into fugitives after one shoots a man who tries to rape the other in a bar car park.
While fleeing towards across the American Southwest, they are trapped by a police blockade at the edge of the Grand Canyon and choose to preserve their freedom by driving their convertible over the cliff together.
But producers at the Old Vic in have seen fit to tell £68-a-ticket theatregoers: “Strong language, including swearing and sexual language.
“Acts of sexual violence, rape. Depictions of gun use and killing. Scenes of a sexual nature. Themes of sexism. Depictions of alcohol consumption
“Production Warnings: Cigarette/smoking. Replica of guns. Alcohol.”
The theatre says of the production: “On a whim, Louise invites her best friend Thelma for a spontaneous weekend getaway.
“After an ill-fated encounter with a stranger at a roadside honkytonk, their lifelong friendship is forged into something dangerous and unbreakable.
“Propelled by a soaring musical score, they set out on a last-chance adventure in a world where every card is stacked against them.
“More than thirty years after the Oscar and Golden Globe-winning film, writer Callie Khouri reimagines her iconic road movie, Thelma & Louise, as a brand-new musical.”
