Who is Mr Fantasy?

Mr Fantasy burst onto the scene this summer, making his first post in August and already gaining one million followers on the platform.

He takes the form of a 70s-style British , committing to the look by wearing false teeth, a fringed bob wig and sunglasses.

Impressively, he has gathered 19.4 million likes across 76 posts on his TikTok account as of November 28.

The reason behind this attention is due to the release of his two funk-inflected pop songs, “Mr. Fantasy” and “Wayuwanna.”

Those two songs can be found on Mr Fantasy’s official account and on , where he has just shy of 500k monthly listeners.

Mr Fantasy debuted his third single “Catapult” on the Jolly Polly Pirate Ship during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade yesterday.

He was dressed in a full pirate costume and danced eccentrically while whirling around and climbing up the ship’s ladder.

The annual Thanksgiving Day Parade was broadcast live on and Peacock, giving Mr Fantasy his largest audience to date.

Is Mr Fantasy actually actor KJ Apa?

It is widely believed that the British-accented singer is actually 28-year-old New Zealand-born actor KJ Apa.

The actor is best known for his role as Archie Andrews on “” and has also featured in films like “The Hate U Give” and “The Last Summer.”

Although neither Apa nor Mr Fantasy has ever confirmed that they’re in fact the same person, the similarities between the two are too obvious to ignore.

The two stars share the exact same tattoos, as well as the same body and face, which make it seem clear they are the same person.

Despite this, Mr Fantasy has said he’s never heard of or seen the popular tween show Riverdale, nor has he heard of KJ Apa.
