Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has pledged to deliver the state for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

The governor made the declaration on Monday while addressing journalists after a stakeholders’ meeting held in Birnin Kebbi.

He explained that the gathering focused on key issues affecting the party and strengthening its position ahead of future elections.

“This is a stakeholders’ meeting; we have met and discussed issues that directly affect our party,” Idris said, adding that details of the resolutions would be communicated through the state Commissioner for Information.

He expressed confidence in the ruling All Progressives Congress, stating that the party remains firmly rooted in Kebbi State.

According to him, residents of the state continue to support the APC and are committed to ensuring its success at both the state and national levels.

The meeting, according to reports by the News Agency of Nigeria, was attended by prominent political figures, including the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu, and the Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs, Yusuf Tanko-Sununu.

Also present were Senators Adamu Aliero and Yahaya Abdullahi, among other stakeholders.
