Manchester United legend, Roy Keane has revealed England manager Thomas Tuchel’s worry about Arsenal’s Eberechi Eze.
Keane was reacting to Eze’s performance for the Three Lions against Andorra on Saturday.
Recall that Tuchel’s side defeated Andorra 2-0 in a World Cup qualifier on Saturday.
Eze was given a starting role in the number 10 role as the Three Lions defeated Andorra.
However, Keane believes Tuchel will be expecting more from Eze in terms of performance for the England team.
“The worry for me when we talk about players like this [Eze], I think he’s done okay against Andorra,” Keane was quoted by Metro UK as saying.
“But the manager [Tuchel] will be saying “okay is not good enough. We need to be setting higher standards than that.”’
Eze will now hope to perform better for England when they face Serbia in a World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.
