Veteran broadcaster, Layi Oyawa, the Managing Director and pioneer head of Adanimogo FM, Ido-Ekiti, is dead.
A seasoned broadcaster with years of experience, Oyawa began his distinguished career after undergoing professional training at the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG).

His passion for journalism and broadcasting saw him rise through the ranks, with notable service at the Ekiti State Broadcasting Service (Radio/TV), where he became a household name.

Oyawa played a pivotal role in establishing Adanimogo FM as a trusted and influential media outlet in the state. His leadership helped shape the station’s identity, promoting local content, fostering community engagement, and mentoring younger journalists and broadcasters.

His death has been described by colleagues and admirers as a monumental loss to the media industry in Ekiti and beyond. He was not only a professional to the core but also a father figure to many in the broadcasting world.

Layi Oyawa is survived by his wife and children, who, along with his professional family, mourn the loss of a man whose contributions will be remembered for years to come.
