The 26-year-old was due to speak at the “Unite the Kingdom” march month organised by Tommy Robinson.
But in a last-minute move, ministers pulled the plug, saying her presence would not be conducive to the public good.
It comes after a similar decision earlier this month to block rapper over antisemitic remarks.
Officials stressed they recognise democratic right that people must be free to peacefully express their views but this does not include promoting hatred and extremist views.
Gomez, a Christian who was born in Colombia, had sparked outrage after previous speeches in Britain, where she warned “rapist Muslims” were “taking over” the country.
At a rally last year, she urged Brits to “fight for this nation” and told to stop “following orders”.
More than 100,000 people attended that event, which is believed to be one of the largest far-right gatherings in UK .
She has also courted controversy in the US, where she burned a copy of the Quran and vowed to end Islam in Texas during a failed run for Congress.
After Gomez posted about her ETA approval, the Muslim Council of Britain wrote: “The decision highlights a clear double standards in how freedom of speech is applied and can potentially lead to less safety and security on the streets of Britain.
“Others have been denied entry to the UK for rhetoric directed at different faith groups.
“This inconsistency raises serious concerns about whose speech is deemed unacceptable and who is permitted.”
