Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Dino Toppmöller has said Galatasaray will still be dangerous in attack without Victor Osimhen, DAILY POST reports.

The Eagles will host Galatasaray in their UEFA Champions League opening fixture at the Deutsche Bank Park on Thursday.

Osimhen will not feature for Galatasaray in the game as he still recuperating from the injury he sustained on international duty two weeks ago.

The 26-year-old was omitted from Galatasaray’s 23-man squad for the game on Wednesday.

Toppmöller insisted that the Turkish Super Lig champions have a capable replacement in Mauro Icardi.

“We’ll see tomorrow if Osimhen plays. There’s no question he brings his quality. If not, Icardi would play, who has also proven many times that he can score goals,” Toppmöller told a press conference on Wednesday.

“In the end, it doesn’t matter who starts up front; both have tremendous quality, but of course, their game is different.”
