DONALD Trump is sending up to 10,000 troops aboard a group of ships to the Middle East, signalling that a new round of strikes on Iran may be on the horizon.
US officials said the ships, jet fighters, marines and sailors will arrive in the region by the end of November – roughly the same time the US President expects to resume bombing the Islamic Republic.

Together, they carry over 7,000 sailors and 2,000 Marines.
The additional servicemembers on the warships that deployed this week will add to the more than 50,000 troops already in the region.
