FORKING out for any beauty treatment comes with it’s fair share of risks.
But this woman could never have anticipated just how bad her first attempt at eyebrow lamination would go.

She took to TikTok to show off the shocking before and after pictures, and the video has racked up a whopping 3.8 million views in under 48 hours.
The beauty fan, who goes by Ms Carragher online, quickly went viral after she shared the pictures.
“Thinking about the time I got my brows laminated,” she wrote over a picture of herself with picture perfect eyebrows.
But the video then switched to a snap of her looking barely recognisable with huge, dark eyebrows.
Ever since the trend took off a few years ago, eyebrow lamination has become all the rage, with thousands rocking neatly styled brows for that lifted effect.
The non-invasive semi-permanent hair straightening treatment reshapes and sets the brow hairs into a desired position, creating a fuller and uniform look.
It can last for several weeks and can be customised to achieve various brow styles, from feathery to bold – so, it’s no wonder beauty buffs are raving about it.
But the beauty fan’s treatment didn’t exactly turn out how she expected, and it was so bad fellow TikTok users urged her to “sue.”
One commented on the viral video: Girl, sue everyone, sue me.”
A second agreed: “I screamed. Girl you better sue someone.”
“Oh my goodness I’m traumatised for you,” someone else wrote.
And another chimed in: “NOTHING could’ve prepared me for that.”
Meanwhile, others mused on where the beauty fan could’ve gone wrong, with some wondering if she attempted to do the treatment herself.
“There’s no way a professional did this to you,” one said.
“Please tell me you did them yourself,” another commented.
Bronzing drop fail
Speaking of beauty fails, one mum-of-two was recently left looking life she’s off to work for Willy Wonka after the viral Primark bronzing drops did her dirty .
Horrified, TikToker Laura Wilkinson took to her page after trying out the viral drops went terribly wrong – and social media users couldn’t stop laughing at the epic fail .
”Quick question… Can someone, please, show me how to use these?” she said in the video , which has since racked up close to 400k views.
In the clip, the mum-of-two showed she had used the drops in the Medium to Dark range, before revealing the jaw-dropping results.
”I am pretty sure this isn’t how it’s meant to go,” the blonde beauty was mortified, as she revealed her bright orange complexion that clearly hadn’t had the sunkissed effect she was after.
”SOS,” Laura went on in the caption.
After taking the internet by storm with the hilarious flop, the Primark shopper realised the grave error she had made, as many pointed out she’d skipped an essential step.
One person explained: ”I mix them with my moisturiser or primer .”
Others also pointed out that she may have used the drops that were, clearly, too intense for her fair glow.
But as many were rushing to offer a helping hand, hundreds couldn’t help but laugh at the disaster, with one wondering if Laura was off to work for Willy Wonka .
A second agreed, writing: ”You both need to sue each other.”
” Easiest money they made that day lol,” someone else joked.
Top 3 beauty products every woman should be using
Hayley Walker, Beauty Expert at Justmylook shared the holy-grail products every woman needs to be using.
A cleanser, SPF, and hair oil are must-haves within beauty routines.
A cleanser is crucial for healthy skin as it removes dirt, oil, and other impurities for flawless skin. This skincare step not only cleanses the face and removes dirt, but also prevents breakouts and premature skin ageing, helping you maintain a healthy, youthful, and blemish-free complexion.
The Aveeno Face Calm+ Restore Nourishing Oat Cleanser is a go-to of mine due to its gentle formula that soothes and restores the skin’s appearance and texture.
SPF is non-negotiable and should be in everyone’s daily skincare routine.
Even on cooler, cloudier days, our skin is exposed to the sun’s UV rays which can be harmful to unprotected skin and even lead to damage. These damages include sunburn, pigmentation changes, and wrinkles which can impact the skin’s texture and appearance. In some cases, prolonged exposure to UV rays can cause skin cancer.
Applying SPF daily prevents these damages and protects the skin from harmful rays. I recommend the Beauty Of Joseon Rice & Prebiotic Sunscreen PA++++ SPF50+ for its lightweight, non-clumping texture that absorbs quickly for a natural finish and maximum protection.
Hair oil has many benefits and should be regularly used. This treatment can strengthen and protect the hair from external stressors while improving its appearance and shine. Regularly applying hair oil can also reduce breakage and even encourage hair growth for longer, fuller locks. Hair oils also target the scalp, reducing dandruff and improving its health through exfoliation.
I recommend using this deeply nourishing treatment a couple of times a week or more depending on the hair’s moisture levels. The Hair Syrup Rapunzel Pre-Wash Oil Treatment is a nutrient-rich treatment that revitalises strands to promote a happy scalp and healthy-looking locks. Apply the syrup throughout damp hair before washing; massage from root to tip and allow the formula to penetrate strands before rinsing and styling.
