Nigeria International, Victor Osimhen, has again rejected a lucrative four-year offer from Saudi Arabia.
Pro League side, Al-Hilal are said to have made an offer worth â¬160 million but the Nigeria International wants to continue playing for Galatasaray.
Osimhen is said to have personally told Galatasaray that he wants to join them on a permanent basis having spent last season on loan with them.
Osimhen wants to play in the UEFA Champions League and does not want to join Arabian clubs despite the financial benefits.
The Nigeria International had a phone call with the Turkish side hierarchy urging them to act fast.
“I want to continue at Galatasaray,”; Osimhen told the club’s officials, according to Milliyet, via habersarikirmizi.
“Get my transfer fee from Napoli. They want to sell me to Saudi Arabia. They have plans to sell me for â¬100 million.”;
Galatasaray president, Dursun Ãzbek and Sportif AÅ vice-president Abdullah Kavukcu immediately met at Rams Park after Osimhen’s plea to discuss the situation.
However, Napoli is not ready to accept anything less than £75m from Galatasaray with the Turkish side’s â¬50 million, â¬60m and then â¬65m all rejected.
Galatasaray is in talks with Napoli to pay Osimhen’s release clause in â¬25 million installments over three years.
