Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has finalised a transfer agreement with Liverpool until 2031.

According to Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg, Isak’s agreement with the Reds until 2031 is “100 per cent done” after the Sweden international rejected an offer to join Manchester United.

Isak has already made it clear that he only wants to join the Premier League champions.

The player’s camp remains optimistic that an agreement can be reached in this transfer window between Liverpool and Newcastle, following the Magpies’ rejection of a £120 million bid.

Newcastle, meanwhile, are desperate to hold on to Isak beyond this summer and value the attacker at £150 million.

Isak is currently in Spain, where he is training alone at his former club Real Sociedad’s facilities, and has stayed away from Newcastle’s pre-season tour of Asia in a bid to force a move to Liverpool.
