Transfer: David Raya agrees deal with Arsenal

Brentford goalkeeper, David Raya, has agreed personal terms with Arsenal.

Raya has also informed the Bees that he wants to join their Premier League rivals this summer.

This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Tuesday.

“Understand David Raya has reached an agreement in principle with Arsenal on personal terms.

“Brentford have been informed by the player’s side that he wants to join Arsenal — and talks between clubs over formula/price are now expected to accelerate,” Romano wrote.

Mikel Arteta wants Raya to provide competition for Aaron Ramsdale, whose form has been fluctuating for a while.
